Earth

Earth, also known as Terra, was the capital planet of the Terran Empire. It had one moon named Luna. As of 2155, the Emperor lived on Earth.

History[]

Vulcans landed on Earth in 2063 hoping to make peaceful first contact, however the Vulcan representative was shot down by Zefram Cochrane. In the century thereafter, the Terran Empire vastly expanded its power in local space, conquering Vulcan and many other worlds. In 2155, Earth's major cities were threatened by Hoshi Sato in command of the USS Defiant in orbit. It is unknown if she did in fact attack the cities.

It is not known to what extent Earth continued to play a role in galactic history after the Terran Empire was conquered by the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance.
